Five mine planters killed and arrested in Helmand and Herat provinces
Two mine planters killed by their own explosives while they attempted
to place IED in a vehicle in the Janob Bazaar region, Sangin District of
Helmand province, last night.
In the meantime, Afghan National Border Police arrested three mine
planters while they attempted to plant IED in the Torghondi Bandar
region, Herat province, yesterday.
Afghan National Police are working diligently with local leaders and
the public to prevent these types of acts from killing and wounding
innocent civilians and security forces.
