According to local security officials in northern Kunduz province, at least 10 people were killed and injured following a suicide bomb explosion in this province.
The officials further added the incident took place on Thursday evening after a suicide bomber detonated his explosives, killing at least 3 Afghan civilians and 2 Afghan police forces.
A spokesman for the Afghan Interior Ministry Sediq Sediqi confirming the incident said, at least 5 people including 3 civilians and 2 Afghan police service members were killed following the explosion. He also added, at least 5 other civilians were also injured during the incident.
No group including the Taliban militants have so far claimed responsibility behind the incident.
This comes as another suicide bomber targeted a convoy of the International Security Assistance Force in northern Faryab province on April 4, killing at least 12 people including 3 NATO service members.
