36 armed insurgents killed, three wounded and 28 others arrested by Afghan National Police

Counterterrorism:
During the past 24 hours, Afghan National Police, Afghan National Army, NDS and Coalition Forces launched eight joint clearance operations in Kunduz, Helmand, Ghazni, Khost and Farah provinces.

As a result of these operations, 36 armed insurgents were killed, three wounded and 28 others were arrested by Afghan National Police.
Also, during these operations, Afghan National Police discovered and confiscated six AK-47 assault rifles, two PKM machine guns, 59 heavy rounds, 11 different types of mines, 11 hand grenades, 1,300 kilograms of chemical materials, five radio handsets and 50 motorbikes.
During the same 24 hour period, Afghan National Police discovered and defused 10 anti-vehicle mines and 58 heavy rounds as a result of security operations in Herat, Kapisa, Jowzjan, Kandahar and Logar provinces.

The Afghan National Police dedicate their lives to protecting the people.
Crimes:
The 101 Kabul Zone National Police detained a man accused of murder in the 11th District of Kabul-City.
In the meantime, Afghan National Border Police arrested a man with fake passport in the Kabul International Airport, yesterday.
The ANP encourages all citizens to report suspicious activities and criminal acts.
