Four mine planters were killed by their own explosives while they
attempted to plant an anti-vehicle mine in the main road of Babo Khil
village, Jani Khil District of Paktika province, last night.
The mine planters’ bodies were lying at the scene.
Mines and Improvised Explosive Devices planted by insurgents are the number one killer of innocent civilians in Afghanistan.
Armed insurgents continue to completely disregard innocent civilian lives with their indiscriminate tactics.
