16 Armed Taliban Killed, Two Wounded and 15 Arrested by Afghan National Police
Counterterrorism:
During the past 24 hours, Afghan National Police, Afghan National Army,
NDS and Coalition Forces launched five joint clearance operations in
Laghman, Ghazni, Herat and Helmand provinces.
As a result of these operations, 16 armed Taliban were killed, two wounded and 15 others were arrested by Afghan National Police.

Also, during these operations, Afghan National Police discovered and
confiscated two rocket launchers, two PKM machine guns, 11 different
types of weapons, one radio handset, 15 heavy rounds, 289 light rounds,
two hand grenades and one motorcycle.
Additionally, Afghan National Police discovered and defused five
anti-vehicle mines as a result of security operations in Kunar,
Nangarhar, Kapisa and Zabul provinces, yesterday.
Crimes:
The 101 Kabul Zone National Police detained five individuals accused of trafficking and theft in the Pul-e-Charkhi, 7th, 8th and 11th Districts of Kabul-City.
