KABUL, Afghanistan – United States Forces – Afghanistan rescued a U.S. citizen, Dr. Dilip Joseph, today during an operation in eastern Afghanistan.

Joseph was abducted Dec. 5 by Taliban insurgents in the vicinity of Sarobi district, Kabul province.
