14 armed insurgents killed, 34 wounded and 18 others arrested by Afghan National Police
Counterterrorism:
During the past 24 hours, Afghan National Police, Afghan National Army,
NDS and Coalition Forces launched nine joint clearance operations in
Nangarhar, Kunduz, Badakhshan, Kandahar, Ghazni, Maidan Wardak, Khost
and Paktiya provinces.
As a result of these operations, 14 armed insurgents were killed, 34 wounded and 18 others were arrested by Afghan National Police.

Also, during these operations, Afghan National Police discovered and
confiscated 11 different types of weapons, 22 light and heavy weapons,
four anti-vehicle mines, one rocket launcher, 16 kg of explosive
materials, three motorbikes, and one vehicle.

The 101 Kabul Zone National Police detained five individuals accused of murder, theft, trafficking and drinking alcoholic beverages in the 2nd, 3rd, and 5th Districts of Kabul-City.
