JALALABAD (PAN): Two policemen were killed in a roadside bombing in eastern Nangarhar province Saturday, an official said.
Five policemen were wounded, three of them critically, in the blast that happened at 4pm when their vehicle struck a roadside bomb in the Kandi area of Kama district.
Syed Rahman Momand, the district chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News, an investigation into the bombing was ongoing.
But a doctor at Kama hospital said on condition of anonymity two dead bodies and three wounded people had been brought to the hospital.
The policemen were keeping security for an under-construction school building when the blast occurred, said a resident of the area, Zubair.
