In Several Joint Clearance Operations, Six Armed Taliban Killed (May 12.2013.)

Counterterrorism:
In past 24 hours, Afghan National Police conducted several joint clearance operations with the cooperation of Afghan National Army, NDS and Coalition Forces to clean some of the areas from terrorists and enemies of peace and stability of Afghanistan.
 
The operations were conducted in Kandahar, Zabul, Uruzgan, Ghazni, Paktiya and Helmand provinces, as a result six armed Taliban were killed, 45 wounded and one was arrested by Afghan National Security Forces.                                                                                    
 
Also, during these operations, Afghan National Police discovered and confiscated two AK-47 rifles, one rocket launcher, 300 kilos of ammonium nitrate, 18 hand grenades, three heavy rounds, six different types of mines, one motorcycle and one vehicle.

Counter Crimes:
The 101 Kabul Zone National Police detained three suspects accused of seizing government property and drug trafficking in the Mosahi and 2nd Districts of Kabul-City.
