Officials in the ministry of interior affairs of Afghanistan following an statement on Saturday said, Afghan security forces discovered a weapons cache in eastern Afghanistan.

he source further added, the cache was discovered in eastern Nangarhar province following an operation by Afghan border protection forces.
The statement also said, the weapons cache includes various types of weapons and ammunition.
However officials in the ministry of interior affairs of Afghanistan did not disclose further information if any suspect was detained in connection to the weapons cache.
