The facilitator operated in the tri-border region of Nahr-e Saraj, Lashkar Gah and Maiwand districts where he distributed bomb-making materials.
Several additional suspected insurgents were also detained.

One leader coordinated improvised explosive device attacks throughout the Nahr-e Saraj district, while the second leader directed insurgent fighters and distributed weapons for use in attacks against coalition forces.
East
Coalition security forces captured a Taliban facilitator during an operation in Pul-e ‘Alam district, Logar province, today. The facilitator acquired weapons for insurgent fighters in Nerkh district, Wardak province.
