A 2009 graduate of Parkview High School in Orfordville,
Neal deployed to Afghanistan a few months ago. He was serving a
nine-month tour.
Neal was a wrestler in high school, and family members said he was the type of guy that was friends with everyone.
His parents are traveling to Dover Air Force Base to be with their son's body when it returns to the U.S.
The family thanked everyone for their support but asked for privacy as they continue to grieve.
