20 armed insurgents killed, one wounded and five others arrested by Afghan National Police
Counterterrorism:
During the past 24 hours, Afghan National Police, Afghan National Army,
NDS and Coalition Forces launched 13 joint clearance operations in
Kabul, Nangarhar, Laghman, Kandahar, Helmand, Zabul, Uruzgan, Logar,
Paktiya and Farah provinces.
As a result of these operations, 20 armed insurgents were killed, one wounded and five others were arrested by Afghan National Police.

Also, during these operations, Afghan National Police discovered and
confiscated 20kg of opium, 28 different types of mines, 37 heavy rounds,
two pistols, two radio handsets, 150 light rounds, six hand grenades,
80 kilograms of explosive materials, six magazines and one motorcycle.
Crimes:
The 101 Kabul Zone National Police detained two individuals accused of trafficking and using fake banknotes in the 6th and 11th Districts of Kabul-City.
