Suicide attack leaves two civilians killed in Balkh province
A suicide bomber riding a bicycle blew himself up in the Chahar Bolak District bazaar, Balkh province, today at 10:00 a.m.
As a result, two civilians were killed including a child and five Afghan National Police members were wounded.
The incident is being investigated by Afghan National Police.
Afghan Ministry of Interior Affairs condemns in the strongest terms
this suicide attack and prays for a quick recovery of those injured and
expresses its sincere condolences to the families of the victims.

MAZAR-I-SHARIF (PAN): Three civilians were killed and five policemen injured in a suicide bomb attack near a health clinic in the Charbolak district of northern Balkh province on Tuesday, an official said.
The explosion took place at around 12:30 pm in front of a health clinic, where some explosives concealed in a bicycle were detonated, police spokesman Shir Jan Durani, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
He said three civilians, including a child, were killed and five police injured in the explosion.
The injured were taken to a military hospital and their health condition said to be stable.
The health clinic in-charge, Dr. Abdul Hafiz, said he was busy examining the patients when the blast happened.
Quoting eyewitness, he said it was a suicide attack that killed three civilians and injured six policemen. He added the dead body of a suicide attacker was also lying at the scene.
Resident, Akhtarbai said the clinic was located near the police headquarters and policemen frequently passed by the area.
Meanwhile, the Interior Ministry in a statement said two civilians, including a child, was among the killed and five police were slightly injured in a suicide bombing in Charbolak district.
Interior Minister Besmillah Mohammadi denounced the attack and extended condolences to the victims’ families.
