BAGRAM, Afghanistan - Afghan and coalition forces killed one insurgent and cleared one improvised explosive device during operations in eastern Afghanistan throughout the past 24 hours, Feb. 17.

Nangarhar province
Coalition forces killed one insurgent during an engagement in Sherzad district.

Ghazni province
Afghan National Security Forces found and safely cleared an IED in Ghazni City.

Operations in RC-East are ongoing.
