BAGRAM, Afghanistan - Afghan and coalition forces found one cache and detained three suspected insurgents during operations in eastern Afghanistan throughout the past 24 hours, March 9.

Ghazni province

Afghan Uniform Police found a cache consisting of 40 pounds of homemade explosives during operations in the Dehyak district.

Khowst province

Afghan and coalition forces detained three suspected insurgents during operations in the Shamal district. The suspected insurgents were taken to a base for questioning.
