82 armed insurgents killed, eight wounded and four others arrested by Afghan National Police
Counterterrorism:
During the past 24 hours, Afghan National Police, Afghan National Army,
NDS and Coalition Forces launched 12 joint clearance operations in
Kabul, Jowzjan, Kandahar, Uruzgan, Maidan Wardak, Logar and Ghazni
provinces.
As a result of these operations, 82 armed insurgents were killed, eight wounded and four others were arrested by Afghan National Police.

Also, during these operations, Afghan National Police discovered and
confiscated 2kg of opium, 10 different types of weapons, three PKM
machine guns, 14 different types of mines, three radio handsets, 74
light and heavy rounds, 80 kilograms of explosive materials, 11 hand
grenades and two motorcycles.
Crimes:
The 101 Kabul Zone National Police detained four individuals accused of using fake documents in areas surrounding of Kabul-City.

In the meantime, Afghan National Border Police arrested a man with fake passport in the Kabul International Airport, yesterday.
The ANP encourages all citizens to report suspicious activities and criminal acts.
