15 Armed Taliban Killed, Three Wounded and Nine Arrested by Afghan National Police
Counterterrorism:
During the past 24 hours, Afghan National Police, Afghan National Army,
NDS and Coalition Forces launched 11 joint clearance operations in
Laghman, Baghlan, Kunduz, Kandahar, Uruzgan, Maidan Wardak and Khost
provinces.
As a result of these operations, 15 armed Taliban were killed, three wounded and nine others were arrested by Afghan National Police.

Also, during these operations, Afghan National Police discovered and
confiscated 30 kilos of opium, two rocket launchers, one PKM machine
gun, seven different types of weapons, one radio handset, 526 heavy
rounds, 292 light rounds, nine different types of mines and 20 kilos of
explosives.
Additionally, Afghan National Police discovered and defused one remote
control mine as a result of security operation in the Ghormach District
of Faryab province, yesterday.
Crimes:
The 101 Kabul Zone National Police detained three individuals accused of using fake documents and murder in the 11th and 15th Districts of Kabul-City.
