GHAZNI CITY (PAN): Six Taliban militants were killed by residents of the Andar district of southern Ghazni province on Monday, a public uprising leader said.
The hour-long clashes took place in Mokam Qala and Alam Khel areas, where the rebels attacked the check-posts set up by residents, said a commander of the uprising.
Faizanullah Faizan told Pajhwok Afghan News four rebels were killed in the ensuing clash. Another two insurgents were killed in Khani Baba area. A member of the public uprising group was injured.
