61 armed insurgents killed and one was arrested by Afghan National Police
Counterterrorism:
During the past 24 hours, Afghan National Police, Afghan National Army,
NDS and Coalition Forces launched five joint clearance operations in
Baghlan, Jowzjan, Paktika, Kandahar and Farah provinces.
As a result of these operations, 61 armed insurgents were killed and one was arrested by Afghan National Police.

Also, during these operations, Afghan National Police discovered and
confiscated 115 kilograms of opium, 11 different types of weapons with
28 magazines, three radio handsets, two suicide vests, 376 light rounds
and 27 hand grenades.
Crimes:
The 101 Kabul Zone National Police detained nine individuals accused of trafficking, theft and assault in the 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 7th and 15th Districts of Kabul-City.
