38 Armed Taliban Killed, 23 Wounded and 10 Arrested by Afghan National Police
Counterterrorism:
During the past 24 hours, Afghan National Police, Afghan National Army,
NDS and Coalition Forces launched nine joint clearance operations in
Faryab, Sar-e-Pul, Kandahar, Uruzgan, Maidan Wardak, Logar, Paktika and
Paktiya provinces.
As a result of these operations, 38 armed Taliban were killed, 23 wounded and 10 others were arrested by Afghan National Police.

Also, during these operations, Afghan National Police discovered and
confiscated two rocket launchers, one PKM machine gun, 12 different
types of weapons, one radio handset, seven heavy rounds, 27 different
types of mines, two hand grenades, three motorcycles and one vehicle.
Additionally, Afghan National Police discovered and defused nine
different types of mines as a result of security operations in Ghazni
and Helmand provinces, yesterday.
Crimes:
The 101 Kabul Zone National Police detained two individuals accused of seizing government property and murder in the Bagrami and 1st District of Kabul-City.
